Loving My Fitness Journey
A friend was doing an exam to become a fitness teacher – Come along and be part of the exam class, she said…
Being a helpful friend, I agreed and discovered a new way of exercising. It felt like dancing! The moves were choreographed to the music! The floor work covered all the exercises that the physio had told me to do. I loved it!
I joined FLexercise and started attending classes twice a week. My legs got stronger, and I could walk uphill without my butt shrieking. I developed stomach muscles and biceps. I learned to plank.


I trained to be a teacher and discovered I could do four or six classes a week. My headaches grew far and few between. If I did something stupid and hurt my back … it would get better…
I trained to teach Pilates (in between Covid lockdowns) and then I completed Extend training to teach chair classes to seniors. I’m exercising everyday and teaching others at the same time.
This isn’t work, this is something I love. Join a class – fall in love!
